I am currently a Kindergarten teacher. I have been at Reeder Elementary for 6 years. Before teaching there, I was an Early Childhood Special Educator in Gwinnett County, Georgia. I have four beautiful and very active daughters. My husband, Kent, and I stay pretty busy going to softball games, soccer games, volleyball games, basketball games, gymnastic meets, and swim meets!I love my life!
I would like to thank Charles Sipe over at Teacher Certification Degrees for naming my blog as a "Top 50 Early Childhood Education Blogs" list! How exciting! I really do consider it being an honor just to be listed with all of the other great blogs!
This email made a pretty crabby day turn out pretty good! THANK YOU!!
Well, I have been blogging for about 5 months. I started this blog because of the other great blogs that are already out there. I LOVE getting new ideas! I am so glad that I do something different every year. I would not be able to do this without the creative support from colleagues in my professional community! I try to share things that are meaningful and of course cute :-) If you haven't been able to use the things that I have created, then maybe my post helped spark your creativity.
This is a sequencing activity to go with the super cute story "Room On The Broom" by Julia Donaldson, Axel Scheffler (Illustrator). It has been a favorite so far!! We are also creating our own monsters!!
