I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Duck and Goose books by Tad Hill. The illustrations are adorable and the books lend themselves to many different learning activities for kids. For my first packet I had to start with my favorite books. :)
This packet has activities for reading, writing, math and art. All the activities are based on the stories Duck and Goose and Duck, Duck, Goose by Tad Hill. It is an easy packet to print and use for a substitute teacher. Simply print the packet and fill it into your daily schedule.
Along with the packet I am offering two more Duck and Goose FREEBIES right here.
The first FREEBIE is venn diagram I created to compare Duck and Goose. In order to download this FREE document simply click here.
This is also a fun idea to do with the story Duck and Goose. I drew the characters from the cover. Then I cut circles on a die cut machine. The students colored the polka dots on the circle with crayon. Then they finger painted over the circle with sweetened condensed milk. It made the balls look glossy. This is a really fun and easy activity.
